Sanskrit – Foundation Courses – Part 3

This is the third term of an introductory course in Sanskrit. New students are welcome if they have studied a little Sanskrit before but they should speak to the tutor first.

This language provides direct access to the wisdom of ancient sages and scriptures. It is also famous for the power and quality of its sound and the comprehensive nature of its structure. The term will include:

  • Chanting the beautiful sound of Sanskrit
  • Writing the calligraphic script
  • Understanding the principles of its extraordinary structure
  • Speaking simple Sanskrit

Nine weekly sessions.

Fees are £45 for one or two courses with concessions for full time students, students currently enrolled in the Philosophy or Economics courses, and non-earners.
