The Annual Economics Lecture will be given by Dr Peter Bowman, Head of Economics, at the Hinde Street Methodist Church on Tuesday 28th March.
At a time when it is being questioned whether the benefits of globalisation have been as evenly spread as was promised, Brexit and the changing direction of US policy have brought to the forefront the issue of international trade. This talk will examine the fundamentals of free trade and consider the implications for individuals, companies and nations, questioning what the basic requirements are for just trade around the globe.
There will be an opportunity for questions from the audience.
Please note that refreshments will be served before the lecture up to 7.10 pm and there will not be an interval.
Tickets £6 in advance (£7 on the door). If you would like to buy a ticket, please contact us.
