Man does not live by bread alone, but bread helps! A principle underlying residentials is that everyone helps to look after everyone else, including the preparation of meals.

If you decide to study in the school for two to three years or more, you will be offered the opportunity to attend a residential event at one of the School’s country properties at either Waterperry near Oxford or Nanpantan near Loughborough in Leicestershire. These events typically involve a mixture of study, group meetings and discussion, some work around the house or grounds and the twice daily practice of meditation.
The first residentials usually consists of weekends. Some time later, there is an annual opportunity to spend a whole week. For many, these become highly cherished occasions for the deeper penetration in practice of philosophical principle, in the good company of fellow students and tutors. The idea is that everyone should leave at the end of the week refreshed in mind, body and spirit.
The food at residentials, which is prepared by those attending, is vegetarian. As far as possible, it is sourced locally.
