Longer term students also help with a regular period of voluntary service to some aspect of the School’s activities: catering, looking after the School’s buildings, and helping to organise and run various courses and events. This provides an opportunity to put into practice, in the company of other students, aspects of the philosophical teaching – not as ends in themselves, but as aids to applying them more frequently and effectively in daily life.
