The School of Economic Science is a centre of spiritual and practical knowledge and enquiry. Our aim is to help individuals lead a fuller, richer and more useful life. We are a registered educational charity, founded in 1937.

The main subject explored in the School today is practical, living philosophy, based primarily on the philosophy of Advaita, or unity.

Courses are also offered in economics with justice. These aim to show how a more equitable distribution of wealth can be achieved while leaving the world in as good a condition as we find it, or better.

The School offers a wide range of other courses, inspired by the broad principles of Advaita philosophy, as well as seminars, workshops, concerts and lectures.
