Love was the central message of Marsilio Ficino, the philosopher, scholar and priest of the fifteenth century Florence.  “Nothing,” he wrote, “is nearer to God than love.”

Next term we shall continue studying Ficino’s voluminous correspondence.  His letters give rise to the most profound and enriching discussions.  Come and join the feast!
