Summer Lecture series: Friendship – The Long View

2nd August, from 7.00pm - 9.30pm

We value our friends and feel that they value us, but what is the nature of this bond? Valery Rees, Renaissance scholar, will examine great examples of friendship from antiquity, when it was considered a sacred bond, to modern times, and will address the question ‘What does friendship mean to us today?’

The Mandeville Place summer evenings offer an enriching selection of fine presentations and talks on great truth seekers and great philosophical concepts, plus a scintillating musical performance on 23 August.

Tickets are £15 each, including full supper. To reserve your ticket, call Mandeville Place on 020 7034 4000.
