Economics with Justice Part 3: Growth

Welcome to Economics with Justice Part 3: Growth, Sustainability and Human Development. Classes will be offered remotely via Zoom, until the building reopens.

This course begins by recognising three levels of operation - principle, policy and practical precept. It proposes three simple principles of unity, interconnectivity and responsibility.

Together we apply these principles to the themes of growth, sustainability and human development.

By combining recent radical developments in economic thinking with a more traditional approach to human values and uses case studies from Botswana, Thailand, and Great Britain, what unfolds is a new economics that serves both humanity and the planet, re-establishing a partnership between the human presence and the natural world leading to a more natural way of living.

Economics with Justice Part 3 can be attended before or after Part 2: Ideas, allowing you to learn about the areas of this fascinating subject that are of most interest to you.

Enrol today for the summer term; held on Monday evenings at 7pm. Sessions are an hour long.
